Introduction
Ab.O Design Lab is an architecture and interior design studio focused on providing creative and refined solutions for living and working spaces. With industry experience, the studio has developed a diverse portfolio of architectural projects, tailored to each client. Its work creates unique spaces, ranging from luxurious villas and modern residential apartments to dynamic commercial environments.

Ab.O Design Lab presents Inneer, a chair whose name combines “Inner” and “Veneer.” The design is created using the plywood layering technique, a material known not only for its sustainability but also for the beauty hidden within its structure. Therefore, the chair’s aesthetic comes from within the material itself.

Thin layers of wood are pressed into sheets, creating a cross-section with natural patterns. This detail is a product of technique, yet it carries the poetry of time and craftsmanship. As cuts penetrate the surface, the layered cross-section is revealed and transformed. The layers of wood are no longer merely technical components; they become patterns. The cutting serves not only to define function but also to reveal the beauty inherently contained within. Inneer represents the intersection of precise geometry and visual randomness. Each cut exposes a unique graphic, never repeated, serving as a kind of “memory” of the shaping process. The uniqueness of each cut not only reflects the diversity of the structure but also creates a sense of vitality.

‘“This is a chair where technique serves not only function but also creates aesthetic value,” the studio shares. “A seating structure that is also an abstract painting, composed through cuts across time and material.”
