Đằng Stool
Design by: Nguyễn Đình Phúc
Introduction
Nguyễn Đình Phúc currently lives and works in Hanoi. After graduating from Hanoi University of Architecture in 2015, he interned at several architecture offices before taking on the role of design team leader at SEMA Design Center. In this role, he became more deeply involved in furniture design, with the development of collections becoming an important part of his design approach. His practice is shaped by the perspective that all designs are pieces of a larger ongoing story, where projects are often connected or related through ideas, materials, and aesthetics.

The Đằng Ngà stool is a compact design that harmoniously combines design, culture, and art. The piece is handcrafted from various types of natural wood, notable for its balanced proportions and meticulous attention to detail. The Đằng Ngà stool can also function as a versatile side table or as an artistic sculptural object. Up to six stools can be stacked together. As a distinctive piece of furniture available in multiple colors, it naturally integrates into its surrounding space, easily complementing a variety of interior styles and fitting well in diverse living environments, from private spaces to public areas.
