The V Steel Chair collection is celebrated as a series of standalone sculptural works, transforming each chair into a visual statement within a minimalist space. Crafted entirely from recycled steel salvaged from construction sites and scrapyards in Ho Chi Minh City, the collection presents a striking paradox. A material once perceived as cold, industrial, and impersonal is reborn into a form that is elegant, expressive, and poetic. In this context, the chair transcends its functional role to become a tangible idea, an entity with a voice, provoking reflection on the balance between utility and art, between durability and transience. Through the reduction of geometry, the collection embarks on an aesthetic journey: turning scrap into a symbol of creativity, bridging three domains often seen as separate—sustainability, craftsmanship, and contemporary art.

Design Approach
In the V-Steel Chair collection, each chair is regarded not merely as a functional object but as a tangible idea. Rooted in a spirit of sustainability, the entire collection is crafted from recycled steel salvaged from construction sites and scrapyards in Ho Chi Minh City. This process transforms industrial scrap into refined forms rich in expressive power. The formal language of the collection pursues minimalism, characterized by intersecting planes, precise lines, and carefully calculated voids. Here, solid mass and empty space hold equal value, evoking a balance between function and art. The collection is designed for the audience to engage in a dialogue—about material, sustainability, and the capacity of design to serve as both a poetic gesture and a practical solution.
